NYC street cleaning today and tomorrow
Check the date you need. Read the signs on your street side. Use the official NYC sources below for current street-cleaning status.
Is street cleaning suspended today?
For current alternate-side parking, or street-cleaning, status, open NYC311’s street-cleaning page. Follow the current-status link. Confirm the date shown. The holiday calendar cannot cover every weather or emergency change.
Read the street-cleaning days and hours on your sign. The restriction applies for the full posted time, even after the sweeper passes. Read NYC311’s full rule.
What about tomorrow morning?
Check tomorrow’s date before you leave the car overnight. NYC can announce emergency changes late in the day. Check the official NYC suspension updates before you rely on the schedule.
Check whether a posted restriction starts before you plan to leave. The other street side can have different rules. Check meters and temporary notices too.
Keep your street side and move time together
In Alternate, search an address or place. Choose a street side. Use Plan a stay to check known rules before your leave time. To save parking, review the address and side. Tap Save parking. Home keeps your street side, supported move time, and reminder together.
One car and its standard reminder are free. The reminder uses a 45-minute setting. Allow notifications. Check the reminder day and time on Home. Read the signs before you leave.
Check the other parking rules
Alternate adjusts only street cleaning rules for holidays. Other holiday rules may differ. Read what changes on NYC parking holidays. Check the signs and temporary notices beside your car.
